Therapy Designed With You in Mind
At New Heights Counseling, I provide affirming, trauma-informed therapy tailored to your needs. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, or post-faith healing, therapy is offered in person in Salt Lake City and online throughout Utah.
The process is collaborative, flexible, and designed to fit your goals. Multiple session formats and consultation options are available to support you wherever you are in your journey.
Services Offered
Initial Consultation (15 Minutes — Free)
A brief video call or in-person meeting to determine if we’re a good fit. This is not a clinical service.
Initial Assessment (50 Minutes)
Required for all new therapy clients. This appointment includes a comprehensive mental health evaluation, review of concerns, and collaborative treatment planning.
*Session length may vary depending on your needs and insurance coverage.
Therapy Sessions (50 Minutes)
Ongoing therapy sessions are tailored to your goals and needs. Sessions may incorporate approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, among others, depending on what best supports your growth and healing.
*Session length may vary depending on your needs and your insurance coverage.
Extended Sessions (60+ Minutes)
Extended sessions are designed for deeper, focused work — often used for trauma processing or EMDR. These longer sessions include time for grounding and closure.
*Typically self-pay and not covered by insurance.
Consultations (25 or 50 Minutes)
Consultations offer one-time support, guidance, or information outside of ongoing therapy. These are non-clinical and available in person or via telehealth, depending on your preference.
*Typically not covered by insurance.
Other Fees and Services
Any additional services not listed here are outlined in the intake paperwork provided to new clients. Please feel free to bring up any questions during your consultation or at any time in therapy.
Payment & Insurances
I offer therapy services on a self-pay basis or through select insurance plans. Many clients choose self-pay therapy for the added flexibility, privacy, and focus it allows.
If you’re using insurance, I am in-network with select providers. For out-of-network plans, I can provide a superbill upon request to help with reimbursement. Clients are also welcome to use third-party tools such as Reimbursify, and I’m happy to assist when possible.
